Visual Generative AI: Understanding the Tech Behind the Magic

Pavel Shashkin, Chief Data Scientist at EPAM, and Mikhail Tolmachev, Director, Data Science Consulting at EPAM, gave a presentation at EPAM’s annual event — Learning Week 2023. Anywhere Club is now making the video* of their presentation available to registered members of the Club.

Generative AI is a technology that bends reality, crafts dreams, and redefines creativity. Various Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) such as StyleGAN and Stable Diffusion can already create images and videos that look quite realistic. There are, however, certain drawbacks such as deep fake creation or voice cloning. So, how will these tools change the future of digital media?
